Stannica produces organic and inorganic tin intermediates used as a key raw material in the production of tin based PVC heat stabilizers and tin catalysts. Tin stabilizers are important products in the processing of PVC for rigid applications (e.g. pipe, window sashes, siding, fencing) as well as some flexible PVC applications (e.g. packaging). PVC heat stabilizers prevent the thermal degradation of PVC resins during periods of elevated temperature exposure. In addition to protecting the resin from thermal degradation during processing, our heat stabilizers also serve to extend the useful life of the finished products.
